After the cold air enters the compressed air booster valve, it will encounter the heat of friction at the back of the pump body, and a large amount of water vapor will be generated at high temperature, which will increase the burden of post-treatment steam filtration of the air booster pump, so it is necessary to discharge the water in the post-treatment equipment from time to time.
Compressed air enters the production area through pipelines and is used by users. Some of these pipelines are buried underground and some are exposed in the air. In cold weather, when the pipe is exposed, some moisture may be generated due to low temperature, and some may even have a certain impact on the normal use of users due to the increase of moisture. For example, in the laser cutting machine industry, if the oil and water content in the compressed air is too high, it will affect the accuracy of the cutting process. In the mining industry, wet compressed air booster pump may not affect the normal use of pneumatic tools, but will affect the strength of pneumatic tools during operation.
Note: after shutdown in winter, be sure to vent all gas, blowdown and water, and vent water, gas and oil in various pipelines and gas bags. Because the temperature of the unit is relatively high in winter, a large amount of condensate will be generated after air cooling due to low external temperature after shutdown, which is easy to block, crack and other hidden dangers in various control pipelines.
